I have taught students with intellectual disabilities for 15 years. My vision for several years has been to create a business such as yours to employ those with disabilities, I know they have incredible abilities & should be paid fair wages for these abilities. We started a coffee shop within our high school & the students flourished when given a purpose! I’ve often had the discussion with fellow teachers, friends & anyone who listens that people need & want a purpose. I’ve been so blessed to witness students with intellectual disabilities achieve far more than others thought they ever could.
